Nuzul Al-Quran Holiday

It's the end of world up fever and it's also the end of my short holiday at my hometown. My husband and I spent these 4 days to look up for our "raya" preparation.So,here is a little bit story of my routine in Penang.

12/7/2014-Saturday
We went to Queensbay Mall to look for 'baju raya'.Actually, we had bought few before 'puasa' at Midvalley but we need more because we don't really spend our money for clothes if there is no any festive related.I can say we seldom buy clothes.But here is another story.Our main plan actually was to look for baju raya, but secara tak sengaja we uols ter'divert' and terbeli barang lain.When there is DAISO, it's compulsory for me to enter that shop.I love DAISO branch in QB Mall more.Pilihan lagi banyak compared to other branches even in KL pon sometimes tak banyak pilihan.And of course I grabbed few things.So, we alls jalan-jalan and keluar masuk kedai and tak ada yang berkenan di hati.QB Mall tu besar nak mampus pon tak ada yang berkenan ye, so don't force yourself to buy it.Nak tahu apa yang berkenan di hati kami ? Those are comforter set and also katil..I told ya,kami dah divert kami punya main plan :)

Di jadikan cerita, as we walked around I saw AKEMI shop.Normally memang segan nak masuk sebab as we know harganya mostly expensive kalau tak ada discount.This time memang tertarik nak masuk sebab nampak less sampai 80%..Melampau sangatkan ?!!!Haruslah usha apa yang ada.So, tengok-tengok and belek-belek memang ada yang berkenan di hati. We checked the price with the sales assistant,surprisingly lagi murah dari beli dekat Mid Valley hari tu, only RM130 for the whole set.Ok what,not bad. We grabbed one!

Next was Harvey Norman.Memang alang-alang dah nampak Harvey Norman tu,kami saja nk usha-usha sofa.Nak survey-survey harga,balik KL senang terus shoot ke kedai.Lain yang kami cari, lain yang kami berkenan. It was bedding frame that caught our eyes and heart..hahaha..Seriously, the bedding frame was so beautiful and the price of course thousands.Then, we checked the price with the sales assistant and the best part the price is before discount.Harvey Norman is having some kind of promo now ,where when you buy  one item, you will get 30% off, two with 40% and three with 50% off. Discussion after discussion, so we decided to take that bedding frame since they can deliver it to our house Subang. Actually, the ware house is also from central , that should be no problem.As mentioned by them, it takes 2 weeks for the delivery.

The conclusion is we don't buy any clothes here as planned , but bedding set as unplanned :)

13/7/2014 - Sunday
Again,our main plan was the same, no change , to buy additional baju raya.Today,we went to AEON where it was re-located at Alma, nearer to my house!This AEON is bigger compared to the one in PERDA , more shops and Sushi King was there too :) A lot of new shops here such as BRAND OUTLET , KITSHEN ,PADINI and more.The food court also came in bigger space.Once again, we faced the same problem as Saturday. Many cloth shops however tak ada yang berkenan.Kalau ada yang berkenan pon,tak ada size pulak.Hurm....But I managed to grab a pair of yellow wedges at Vincci.Why yellow?Sebab sama dengan tema baju raya this year :)

I saw Cosway.I dropped by to buy few things.Beside Cosway,there is Court Mammoth outlet.We usha-usha sofa, sekali ada berkenan.Sekali lagi buat kerja gil,beli dari sini,penghantaran ke KL.Wow!Galak pulak shopping cenggitu ye.Anyway,sofa yang kami beli ni boleh pilih kaler or the other name, you can design by your own.Nak tema rumah ke, apa ke, pon boleh.No additional charges.So,warna fuchsia menjadi pilihan  hati bagi menaikkan keceriaan ruang tamu kami yang berdindingkan warna off-white.

14/7/2014- Monday
Memandangkan hari ni final world cup,makanya aku layan lah jugak masa waktu bersahur.Nanti tak ada la kat office orang bercerita aku blur2 jer kan.Lepas sahur, aku solat subuh dan terus sambung tido smpai tengah hari.hahahah.Bila lagi nak buat macam ni?waku cuti jerlah boleh :)

Bila dah tengah hari,baru sibuk-sibuk nak ke pekan.So,kami start dengan ke Tabung Haji.Memang asal aku balik kampung ja,mesti nak pegi bank.Kalau kat Subang,susah sikit nk cuti/time off bagai,.Tak berapa kuasa la mak.Since hari ni hari bekerja,urusan kami semuanya berjalan lancar.Dari Tabung Haji ke Maybank ke TM Point , tak ramai orang. Masa menunggu pon tak lama.Lepas semuanya selesai,we shoot to Sunway Carnival Mall.Kat sini ada Parkson,nasib baik ada yang berkenan di hati.Both of us managed to get pairs of jeans/trousers. Less pon not bad kat sini,some items are at 70%.

So,that's my story.Sebelum sampai ke Subang dala perjalanan dari Penang,kami sempat singgah tengok perkembangan rumah di Ipoh.Alhamdullilah, dah byk siap.Cepat jugak progress dia. So far sangat berpuas hati beli dengan MK Land.

Pasta/Noodle Maker

Hey hey hey

Update live from Penang ya!Just arrived here about 11pm just now.We had our iftar at R&R Tapah.Luckily, it was not crowded.

Orait, this entry was hold about 2 weeks.I had no time to update this before but I have to update it by today , no matter what, because I know later on this entry will not be done. So here we go, an update and review about a new toy in my kitchen , it is called "Pasta/Noodle maker".

Yea, I really love to have/buy something related to my kitchen because as you know, I love cooking. That's my hobby since I was in high school.That's why I owned an online bakery now :)

This toy was purchased from Groupon.The discounted price is RM38 including delivery.

The real thing , comes in with 5 types of mould

 So, my first experiment was to make 'laksa noodle'.The recipe is simple, only 3 ingredients required and those are rice flour,multi-purpose flour and hot water. Mix all the ingredients until it turns to dough and you are done on the first step.Second step is to shape the dough.Divide the dough into 2, insert one of it  into the pasta/noodle maker.Make sure you choose the right hole size to make 'laksa noodle. I choose the biggest hole that available, however it's up to your choice.Before that, please ensure that you prepare a pot of water on the stove and let it boiled. Now,it's time to shape the dough.You just need to rotate the handwheel into the boiling water.You will know when the noodle is ready once it's floating.Anyway, sorry I did not took any photo during the making of this noodle.It was just my first try.Here is an only photo was taken.

Ramadan Jangan Pergi

Jarang sangat Ezzy nk terjebak dengan drama dalam slot Samarinda.Tp drama kali ni betul2 buat  I melekap depan tv,tak boleh skip even 1 second ok.Pelakon yang ditampilkan memang sangat berbakat dan membawa wakat yang sangat membawa effect kepada penonton.

Salah seorang pelakon dalam drama ni adalah Fir Rahman.Igtkan dia pelakon baru but he's from Singapore.Mungkin juga dah lama bertapak lama di Singapura and this is his first drama in Malaysia.Lakonan dia sangat menjadi!sampaikan ramai penonton benci sangat dekat si Johan tu,so do I.Dekat si Farah(lakonan Siti Saleha) tu pon geram jugak,baik tak bertempat.Sampaikan suami pijak kepala pon ikut je cakap.Agaknya ada ke isteri macam tu kat dunia zaman sekarang?

Hari ni merupakan episod ke-8 and I can't wait to watch it.Kalau drama ni disiarkan hari-hari pon best!Sebab setiap episod yang akan datang mesti ternanti-nanti tanpa kesabaran.Hopefully,ending cerita ni akan menyatukan semula Johan dan Farah.Banyak pengajaran dalam cerita ni bagi yang hidup berkeluarga :)

Anyway,comel pulak tengok Siti Saleha tu bertudung ye.Sesuai sangat gandingan Siti Saleha dengan Catriana Ross sebagai ibu dan anak.Sangat sepadan!

Jom,bagi sesiapa yan belum layan cerita ni or terlepas,uols boleh tengok dekat Tonton ye :)Drama ni best , serius tak tipu tau.

Sewing Machine GSM-505

Salam and Hi to all,

I hope it's still not too late to wish "Happy Fasting" as we are soon entering into the half of Ramadhan.

In this post,I will not write much about fasting month because I will make another entry about that soon.

But today,I would to write a review about a sewing machine that I purchased from Lazada. It's a GLOBAL brand,model GSM-505. Untungkan Lazada ada customer macam ioulss,dah berapa barang beli dgn Lazada pon dah tak igt,quite a lot.This time I managed to purchase via COD method.

Orait,this sewing machine came in square box and was sealed very tight with cling wrap.For beginner like me,you don't have to worry much macam mana nak pasang benang pada mesin sebabnya factory dah siap2 pasangkan.Kira sangat ok la kan untuk beginner yg tak tahu menjahit and exited macam iols ni.Terus2 dpt nak jahit :).Nak bukak manual pon malas but you have too ya :)

This is the first look after you open the box.There are 8-types of stitching pattern.More than enough untuk yg pemalas menjahit macam I:). Also available small light near to tempat menjahit.

Below are the functions of this machine (as far as I know for these 2 days,without looking at the user manual) :-

1. There are  2 ways to run the machine.One is by foot pedal and another by button function where you just ON the button and you can just focus on your stitching.
2. Small compartment/drawer at the bottom right side where you can keep small things inside that.
3. Small light near the stitching point
4. Small cutter on the left side,no need to use scissor
5. 8-types of stitching patterns.Awesome,huh!
6. Reverse function

I believe there should be more functions if I open the user manual :) So, as you can see on below picture is the example of stitching that I've tested.Not bad at all!

If you ask me,would I like to recommend this to someone else ? And I would say YES!With the price of RM168,this machine is just worth to buy.

I hope my short review will help those who looking for simple yet compact machine like this :)

Hair Relaxing

So, I decided to go for hair relaxing for my chemical hair treatment.Memang dah lama gila tak buat chemical treatment since I got married.Before this ada buat rebonding twice,that was during uni-life.Tapi after 1 year rebonding,kepala mesti gatal2 and garu kepala dah macam kera..hihihi.Then,dah serik nk buat those kind of treatment lagi,but since dah lama sangat tak buat, why not I try?But this time is relaxing, more natural look.

I purchased this hair package treatment from Groupon which is at RM98 for rebonding/relaxing + wash + cut + blow.I chose a saloon near to my house, D Estilo Studio Hair located at SS15 , just opposite Joe's Kitchen.I've set my appointment at 6pm on last Friday.From office memang pecut tahap gaban sebab takut terlambat.Luckily, I've reached there a few minutes before 6pm :)

I was entertained by a chubby girl,quite talkative.So,she wash my hair before the relaxing process started. After washed, she put the chemical cream on my hair and set it for about 20 minutes and rinse.Followed by hair straightening and repeat putting the cream on my hair and set another 20 minutes, and rinse.The process is lesser than rebonding process.Anyway, I've add on another hair treatment to maintain hair moisturize.Then,my hair was blown followed by hair-cutting.I wanted to have a high layer hair-cut, however the hairstyler did not recommend. Somehow, I tried to push her to cut my hair layered as I need to reduce my weight on my head.I was told not to wash my hair for 2 days which is 48 hours to make sure the chemical will fully absorb into my hair.Overall, it took about 3 1/2 hours for the hair relaxing.

Disebabkan sekarang musim bahang dan my hair lepas straighten dah nak sampai pinggang, I washed my hair after 24hours(which is dah langgar pantang larang..hik3).Seriously, I cannot tahan and rimas with my hair yang tak basuh and the smell of the chemical.Tengok jerla lah nanti rambut relaxing ni tahan berapa lama sebab dah langgar pantang larang,but so far it looks good.I will update in the next few months :).Masa basuh rambut,I shampoo-ed and put conditioner on my hair, followed with hair serum . Malam sikit I put some coconut oil to keep my hair moisturized and will wash on the next day.

For those yang biasa try rebonding, you should give a try on relaxing pulak u will get natural result instead of flat hair.However, split end relaxing is not as pretty as rebonding.This is what I experienced so far. Will update soon more if I have new story on my hair relaxing :)

Ceramic Plate & Container on 80% discounts!

It's the Grand Sales at Parkson.I believe everyone loves sales, especially ladies.And lately I'm a bit like makcik-mackik,suka kumpul barangan dapur macam small kitchen appliances and pinggan mangkuk.

Dijadikan cerita,one my colleague did share about this ceramic plate sales that happen in Subang Parade.Most of the items are 80% less. I can say the price is quite cheap,although if they cheat the actual price.

So, I went to Subang Parade alone after work. Yes,memang sangat rambang mata.Macam nak beli semua I tell you.Ada macam-macam saiz & bentuk. I managed to grab few of it on last Friday.Nak beli banyak-banyak pon, no one to help you to carry those heavy ceramic.Total bankrupt on the first day is plus minus RM71.

Not forgetting,there were also antique unique English style set of cups and plates. Sangat cute with that pastel colours(my all the time fav.colours)!But only 20% less.Wait until 70%-80%, then only I will buy :)

While on Saturday since my husband was around, I brought him together on the second round shopping for the ceramic container.This time I can choose a bigger size container sebab ada orang boleh tolong angkat and bawa kan.Thanks to my husband for paying this.I love you always.

Pie plate is only at RM15..very cheap OK!The oval one of course for potato gratin.The 2 small square containers for fork & spoon.

Sugarlace Deco Class

Sugarlace Deco Class was over.It was a bit tiring but i really enjoyed it. I learnt to make homemade fondant, as easy as 1,2,3 :).As well as the homemade sugar lace mixture.

This picture was taken by Kak Lea during the class.I spot mine with on top of the right side, light turquoise colour. This cake deco is recommended for engagement and wedding event. It is simple but looks very luxury.I just love those pastel colour.

It's good that sometimes we update/share what we experienced.So that, it will becomes a reference to others.

I received an email from a girl named Alia. It's about my previous post regarding my ridiculous Celcom bill that I experienced last few months.She experienced the same. At least, I could help someone  who needs advice on how to settle the problem.I'm happy to do so.
