Bye-bye 2013, Hi-Hi 2014

 2013 is leaving us just about a few hours and we are going to welcome 2014 for our new life.Lets forget all the bad memories in 2013 and remains the good memories in our heart.
Just want to share with you guys some of the unforgettable memories in 2013:-
  • moved to our new house at Subang
  • bought a house at Ipoh with my own account
  • Oslo trip in Nov
  • great salary increment + bonus by MIR
I don't really have any azam in 2014,just go with the flow, but I hope there will be more good things come into my life & family.

Oh,Nasi Kandar

Seriously hari ni tiba-tiba ja teringin nak makan nasi kandar.It's been so long tak makan nasi kandar.Nasib baik dekat Subang ni ada Restoran Pelita.Kalau makan nasi kandar ni,the best is to have it with ayam goreng + bendi + kuah campur.Oh,sangat terangkat ok rasanya.Tak perlu nak ambik lauk macam-macam,sebab harga mesti melambung.Rasa sangat puas dapat makan nasi kandar hari ni.Thanks to my hubby sebab temankan :)

Baby Pineapple

Hi everyone,it's me again,Ezzy :)

Today story is just to update about my garden.We just realized that the pineapple plant already fruited,still at the early stage.Luckily,we did not pull and throw away the plant earlier.

Actually,the pineapple plants were planted by my PIL.This is my first time seeing the baby pineapple that comes in red and a little bit of purple colour.There are two at the side of our house.I am not sure when we can harvest and how long does it takes to be matured.I am not a fan of pineapple,seldom eat it.But I hope,this plant will produce a good fruit and taste sweet compared the one sold in the market.

Telur Dadar Bunga Telang/Butterfly pea omelette

Happy weekend to all :)

How is everyone today?Feeling good?Harini Ezzy nak share resepi telur dadar bunga telang.Kalau sapa2 yang tanam pokok bunga telang tu,boleh la try resepi ni,variety sikit telur dadar kita :)

Bahan-bahan:-

  • 2 biji telur
  • 1/2 cawan susu segar
  • 1 labu bawang besar(dihiris)
  • 1 cili merah(dihiris)
  • beberapa bunga telang
  • lada putih & garam secukup rasa
  • 1 sudu butter
Cara-cara:-
  1. Pukul telur dan susu segar sehingga sebati(guna garfu/whisker).Masukkan bahan2 lain kecuali butter.
  2. Panaskan kuali dan masukkan butter.Bila butter dah cair,masukkan adunan telur tadi dan biar sehingga masak.Sedia untuk dihidang :)

Feeling blessed...

Alhamdullilah, December brings two good news to me.Started with 2 months bonus announced by Stasi during our lunch party,followed by increment letter yesterday.Percentage of 2014 salary increment was a big shock for me.I did not expect to get such a high jump salary.It is more than what I think.Again,alhamdullilah.(Macam ni barulah berkobar-kobar nak buat kerja..hihihi)

Kenwood Ice Cream Maker

I started my day with a fever.Alhamdullilah,orang kata kalau kita ditimpa sakit walaupon demam,itu adalah penghapus dosa-dosa kecil kita :).Kat office tadi memang tak tahan sangat, kaki dah start sejuk2, badan panas dan kepala berdenyut-denyut.Memang tak selesa nak buat kerja langsung.So,I decided to go home and took MC.Ok,enough of that,lets straight to the main story.

Actually, hari ni nak share story about my new toy, that is ICE CREAM MAKER.Yes,ice cream maker is actually one of my wishlist.I managed to get this at cheap price from Lazada.The normal price is RM299, after discount is RM179 including delivery charges,even cheaper that Groupon, which is RM199. Atleast , I save RM20. I ordered this online on last Friday evening,and I was very surprised I received this ice cream maker on Monday.It took only.3 days for the delivery which weekend was counted.I can say this is very fast delivery compared to Groupon.

The ice cream maker can cater for 1.5L of ice cream.It only takes about 15-20 minutes to prepare for the ice cream, this what I found from the internet.I haven't try it.Can't wait to try this on this weekend.Maybe I should go for a simple basic recipe first.I will post an entry regarding my homemade ice cream soon :).

Dinner at Laman Grill Steak & Bar-B-Que

Craving for steak?Looking for halal restaurant?I recommend you guy to go for Laman Grill Steak & Bar-B-Que located at Shah Alam Section 13.We just had our dinner there few hours ago and this is our second time.As always,to be saved,please make a call for reservation and you can have your dine-in indoor.There are variety of menu for you to choose,starting from appetizer to dessert.
The appetizer,oxtail soup with garlic bread
On my second time here,I chose to eat Sirloin Steak in 220gram.There is in 320gm too.220gm is just enough for me,just nice to fulfill my stomach thou I was very hungry just now.The Sirloin Steak came with side dishes of black pepper gravy,vege & potato.As I remember,the price is RM45.50.

Here is our dessert,Caramelized Apple Bread Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream.The taste was not bad and never disappointed us.It came with mix fruits of strawberry,apple and others.The custard sauce just nice blending with the bread pudding :)

Sirap Biru@Bunga Telang

I've been planted Butterfly Peas or Bunga Telang back few months ago.Out of 10 seeds,only 2 managed to survive and grow well.The flowers are used as natural colouring for nasi kerabu,syrup and other else.I've cooked my first try nasi kerabu using this blue flowers.But today,I would like to share a recipe for "Sirap Bunga Telang" which I made yesterday :)




The recipe is actually taken from blog "Tanamsendiri.com", however I've made some adjustment since I have extra flowers.

Ingredients:-

  • 70 butterfly peas flowers
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 7 cups of water
  • 2 pandan leaves
Put all of the ingredients in a pot.Heat them at medium heat until it boiled.Turn off the fire.Let the syrup turns cold,filter them and keep it in bottle.
The way to serve:-
Just add 4-5 spoons or more of the syrup to a jug of plain water and ice block.You can also add a little bit of lime.juice,the blue colour will turns to purple.Optional to add mint leaves for a refreshment flavour

Masak Lemak Cili Padi Ikan Kembung Pucuk Ubi & Terung Goreng Sambal

                                           

This was my dinner for last night.I planned to cook Pucuk Ubi Masak Lemak + Sambal Tumis Ikan Kembong,but end up with another menu, because suddenly I felt so lazy to fry the fish.So,I decided to go for Masak Lemak Cili Padi Ikan Kembung Pucuk Paku + Terung Goreng Sambal.

Recipe as below:-

MASAK LEMAK CILI PADI IKAN KEMBUNG PUCUK UBI
  • 3 ulas bawang merah(blend)
  • 3 ulas bawang putih(blend)
  • 15 cili padi(blend)
  • kunyit hidup(sebesar ibu jari)(blend)
  • 1 batang serai(blend)
  • halia (blend)
  • garam & gula secukup rasa
  • seikat pucuk ubi
  • 2 asam keping
  • daun kunyit(optional)
  • 1 kotak kecik santan
  • 2-3 sudu minyak masak
Cara-cara:-
  1. Tumiskan bahan2 yang diblend sehingga masak dan sedikit kering.
  2. Santan sekotak di campurkan dengan sedikit air,then masukkan kedalam tumisan tadi.Kacau selalu supaya santan sebati.Gunakan api perlahan.
  3. Apabila mendidih,masukkan ikan dan pucuk ubi serta asam keping dan biar dia atas api sehingga masak.Lebih kurang 15-20 minit.
  4. Akhir sekali masukkan daun kunyit(optional) serta garam & gula secukup rasa.Tutup api dan sedia untuk dihidang.
TERUNG GORENG SAMBAL
  • 2 batang terung saiz sederhana
  • 2 batang cili merah/hidup
  • 5 batang cili padi
  • 2 ulas bawang merah
  • 2 ulas bawang putih
  • belacan
  • sedikit ikan bilis(x perlu sampai segenggam)
  • 1 sudu sos tiram
  • 2 sudu sos ikan
  • garam secukup rasa
  • minyak utk menumis
Cara-cara:-
  1. Tumbukkan kesemua bahan di atas kecuali minyak.
  2. Tumiskan kesemua bahan sehingga garing.Masukkan sos tiram & sos ikan.
  3. Masukkan sedikit air(agak2 kurang secawan).Biar sehingga mendidih.
  4. Masukkan terung dan biar sehingga masak.
*Tips:-
Kalau xnak terung menjadi terlalu lembik,boleh deep fry terung terlebih dahulu.

Wideshawl from Paylessitems_store

Tada,here goes my wideshawl, I ordered last Friday from Paylessitems_store.I am not sure if they have any blog/website but I know this from Instagram.


The prices are RM17 each and you can get free postage if you buy 3 or more.I got mine with 2 plain black & mustard colour and  also pink sakura flower wideshawl. The material is cotton polyester ,very comfy and easy to wear.I'm gonna get more with variety of colours soon :)

Big Bad Wolf 2013

Hi,it's me again,with a new story to tell you :)

It's about current big event that we went yesterday, BIG BAD WOLF.It was held at MIECC, Mines.For book lovers, it is a compulsory for you to attend this big event.There are 3 million books for you to choose with a really really cheap price.From fictions,non-fictions,children,cookery to business & many more.

The event started from 6th to 15th December 2013 with non-stop 24 hours open for public.You can even do your shopping at 3 am  if you want.If you wish to go on weekend,please make sure that you go early to avoid crowded.Or else you will end up getting tired to search for the parking.Please bring a trolley or bag if you plan to buy many books.However,there are free boxes provided for the visitor.So,you can just grab the box and fill your books inside.

Just like 2 years before,my favourite section is always Cookery.As I remember,last time I bought 2 baking books.This year,it increases to 7.Total of our damaged was RM272 for 16 books,and some of them are hard covered.My advice to you is to quickly go and get yours.It's cheap baby!

We are already in DECEMBER, the last month of the year.All of us are looking for 2014 coming soon for another 27 days.And what you expect and waiting for December 2013? Here goes my list :-
