Trip to Oslo,Norway - Day 1

Ok, it's time to update entry about our Oslo,Norway trip , sambil layan Anugerah Skrin 2013 :).Dah lama sangat tertangguh ni.Suppose to be updated on last week but I was too busy with this and that.Lets start the story.

Our flight was on Friday,8th November at 8.20pm boarding time to Bangkok for transit.Penerbangan kami adalah bersama Thai Airways.Setibanya di Bangkok,agak lama juga masa nak menunggu untuk penerbangan seterusnya,almost 2 hours.Flight ke Oslo jam 12 malam waktu Bangkok,sejam lewat dari Malaysia.

Day 1(Saturday,9th November 2013)

After almost 12 hours on the flight,finally we reached Gardemoen Airport at 6am (Norway time).The weather was cold and fog,temperature was at -5deg C.We took a Oslo Taxi to our first hotel,Best Western where located in the middle of Oslo Town.Perjalanan dari airport ke hotel boleh dikatakan mengambil masa selama 30 minit,lebih kurang dari KL nak ke KLIA,Sepang.

Setibanya di hotel,kami terus check-in.Receptionist cakap "this is too early",but we were lucky because there was room available.We had some rest,as we decided to start our walk at 10am.You can asked for Oslo map at the hotel counter. We started our walk to RUTER,a place to buy pass for public transport.You can also choose to have an unlimited pass for 1 week straight,it's about 220 NOK.

Then,we just had some walk around the town ,snapped photo of  the beautiful view and not forgetting recording some videos for our memory.Opera House was our next stop.A white building with fantastic architecture design.Here,you can walk up to the roof top to see view of sea and also Oslo Town.It was a light rainfall,windy and the weather got colder.

When it came to lunch hour,my husband brought me to one of the Kebab restaurant,where he had some foods here during his first trip to Oslo.It is Carmel Grill.Each plates we ordered came in big portion,but sorry I couldn't remember the price of the kebab.

Done with our lunch,and we decided to go to Vigelandsparken.Anyway,sparken in Norwegian language means park.Dekat Oslo ni banyak sangat park,even near the town.Ok,how we go to Vigelandsparken by public transport?We took Metro(Subway/speed train) from the Oslo Sentralstajon to Majorstuen.You need to take a 5 minutes walk to Vigelandsparken when you reached Majorstuen station.Kat sini,you guys boleh tengok patung pelik-pelik?Apa yang peliknya ye?Yang peliknya banyak patung bogel.Ezzy pon x faham apa maksudnnya,tapi my friend told me that each of the patung ada maksud tersendiri.I believe the Norwegian knows better :).By the way,the weather for our first day here was not so clear & sunny.We got colder from time time, and we decided to get back to our hotel as we cannot handle the cold weather anymore at that hour.

To make it short,after some short rest,we off to Brugata to have our first dinner here at a Thai restaurant called Rice Bowl.They served thai foods with variety of menus.

Finally,the day has come.
We will be going to Oslo,Norway tonight.
Insya-Allah,I will update our trip there from time to time.
Or you guys can just view my instagram for the latest update.
Anyway,sorry tak sempat nak update post about our winter trip preparation.
Of course will update soon when I'm free.

Fly High

October is coming to the end,means it just left about 2 weeks before I leave Malaysia for a short vacation.
I'm kinda excited to visit this place.Can't wait to fly high and see the beautiful nature there, with lots of colorful leaves or maybe white snow.I heard Autumn is already at the end of the season,and winter is coming soon.As per yesterday instagram updates,there was a light snow at night although it is in the autumn season,and the temperature there I believe is average min 2 deg C to 4 deg C.

Anyway,I'm going to Artic :).Which country?Will tell you soon :)

Maybe I will update or share soon my preparation for this vacation,in case any of you are going to the same place.

Vietnam Trip Begins

Date:16th May 2012

our flight delayed about 45 minutes.We took off from Kuala Lumpur around 8:30pm and arrived at Ho Chi Minh City at 10:30pm our local time.The airport was pretty nice and beautiful,just like our KLIA.

From the airport,we took taxi to our hotel.It costs us USD9.It's around 20-30 minutes to Ngoc Anh Hotel where we choose to stay during our visit in Vietnam.Over here,the taxi driver is not really knows how to communicate in EnglishFor those who are first time travel to Vietnam,you need to print out and show the taxi driver the hotel/destination that you want to go.

For your information,we booked our hotel from Agoda.The price is cheaper compared to the normal rate provided by the hotel.During our check-in at the hotel,we faced the difficulties to communicate with the lady receptionist.She did not really know to communicate and understand in English.Luckily,we met a guy,receptionist that work for the night shift,and he knows English.His name is Tran Dung.He helped us to check-in and settle everything.Our room no is 1403,superior room,USD 26/night.And i think it is consider cheap.The room is clean & comfortable enough for both of us.

We decided to go to Cu Chi Tunnel on the next day.Once agian,Tran Dung helped us to arrange with the local tourism agency.We only managed to have cup of instant noodle for our dinner as we were quite tired to go out and search for halal food.

Ho Chi Minh City..here i come

This is my first time travel to HCMH.So,nothing much to say here,wait till i reach there..

Singapore Trip - Day 1

Hi all,

I think it is still not too late for me to say good-bye to 2011 and welcome to 2012.

This entry is all about my trip to Singapore during New Year.

We start our journey from Kuala Lumpur around 7.15am heading to Johor Bahru for Fizul's wedding. It took us about 3 hours and a half in order to reach JB.

After we had lunch at Fizul's Wedding, we check in at Puteri Pan Pacific Hotel. Our plan is to drive in into Singapore by 3pm.We changed our cloth to casual.

We went pass-thru Singapore via Tambak Johor (1st Link) heading to Woodlands (Checkpoint at Singapore)

Ok...pada sape2 yang x pernah drive to Singapore tu, sila2lah bawak En GPS bersama anda yer..kalau x,jawabnye sesat barat mcm kami lah yer...hehe...so,xpayah la kot rasanya nk cerita pasal sesat2 ni yer..Let’s proceed to the next point.

We reached Esplanade (the actual plan is to go to Orchard Road...hehe).We parked our car at F&G if i'm not mistaken...SDG 2.5 per entry bebeh....kalau diconvertkan tu dalam RM5 /entry lah yer...Oh,before that,masa dekat checkpoint tadi,you need to purchase Autopass(ala2 Touch & Go di Malaysia) for toll & parking during your trip in Singapore.One car,One Autopass.You can top up the cards at any 7-Eleven Outlet in Singapore Only,i guess.So,for the next time,you need to use the same Autopass with the same car.

Back to Esplanade stories,mcm biasa,tempat tarikan pelancong mcm kami ni,we walk around and took some photos around there.It is just like Bukit Bintang in Malaysia with many2 of shopping malls.
